Part Time Delivery Associate:

Hometown Refurnishing, a new and used furniture store in Ephrata, PA is seeking a reliable and responsible delivery associate to join our team. This position is open to students who need flexibility around a class schedule if needed.

Job Description

• Load/unload furniture in delivery vehicles & trailers at delivery locations, warehouse, store.

• Deliver furniture into customer’s homes (up & down stairs) carefully & professionally.

• Assemble & set up furniture in store & in customer’s homes.

• Safely drive delivery vehicles to various locations (in varying weather conditions).

• Communicate clearly with customers in person & on the phone when delivering.

Applicant Requirements

• Must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record, a good sense of direction and the ability to navigate efficiently using GPS.

• Must be able to physically move/carry large pieces of furniture in varying situations and terrain, and perform physical tasks as required.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with customers.

• Must have good time management skills.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or with others.

• Must have good problem-solving skills, with the ability to adjust actions if needed.

• Ability to follow verbal & written directions.
